H.E Margaret Muthomi led the community in tree planting today, responding to our President, H.E Dr. William Ruto, who launched the planting of 15 billion trees by 2032.
The African Landscape Restoration Plan intends to cut greenhouse gas emissions, halt and reverse deforestation, and repair 5.1 million hectares of deforested and degraded landscapes.
In addition, the First Lady planted trees at Itugururu Agricultural Training Institute, Kiraro Primary School, and Chuka Level Five Referral Hospital.
